Vinyl Sauna Suits- Losing Weight Can Be Easier With A Sauna Suit

You may be asking, what is a Vinyl Sauna Suit? Boxers and other athletes who are looking to step up their workout, and/ or lose weight quickly before a competition frequently use vinyl sauna suits. Sauna suits work by trapping the body heat, and keeping it close to the body. It also traps in any moisture that is produced by the body (sweat), which creates a sauna like environment inside of the suit. Not only does this increase the amount of sweat the body produces, it also increases the body temperature, because the body heat is not able to escape.

Vinyl’s scientific handle is poly-vinyl chloride, which is made by combining ethylene and chlorine. Because vinyl is cheap to make and waterproof, it is a frequently used to make sauna suits.

Because vinyl is easily recyclable, you don’t have to worry about what to do with your sauna suit if you don’t need it anymore, or if it has worn out. Just dump your used vinyl sauna suit in with your other recyclables and you can feel good about not polluting our environment!

Wearing a sauna suit alone will not give you a thin toned body. A careful diet and regular exercise will be far more effective in giving you the body you’ve always dreamed of. However, if you have to quickly lose five or ten pounds in order to fit in a certain weight class for a competition, or to fit into that favorite dress, than perhaps putting on a sauna suit could be right for you.

However, before you put on a sauna suit, you should talk to your doctor and ensure that you are familiar with the signs of dehydration in order to avoid hurting your body.

Sauna suits are available in other fabrics also, so it would be a good idea to try on the different materials available to see which one is right for you. The two most popular materials are nylon and vinyl. Nylon tends to be lighter than vinyl, and some say, more durable. But, as with any product, there are different levels of quality with both materials. If you are planning on doing a great amount of bending or twisting while wearing the sauna suit, the main focus should be the strength of the seams.

Vinyl sauna suits are available from most major sporting retailers, so do your research before hand to make sure you are not paying too much and to ensure that you purchase a quality product.
